David's Background
David Himes has been writing music for film, video production and the concert hall since 1996. He writes electronic music in his studio and also writes consistently for adult choruses, children's choruses, solo voice, string quartet, world percussion ensemble, pipe organ, piano and full orchestra. Having written for full orchestra and having been a school band director since 1988, David's knowledge of ranges and techniques for the instruments of the orchestra is extensive. He uses this knowledge to produce pieces that utilize the full effects of the modern orchestra. His studio is in Sinking Spring, PA (1 hour Northwest of Philadelphia).
